Julia Robertson Print
We are pleased to announce that an oil-on-canvas painted by Julia Robertson is now available as a print. This print is a copy of the original, painted in 1858 by twelve year old Julia Robertson, an early inhabitant of the French Legation. The Robertson family purchased the Legation in 1848 and resided in the house until 1940. The original painting, currently displayed in the museum, is the earliest rendition of the home. It illustrates the house in its original environment, surrounded by a white lattice fence. This 15 x 19 inch print can be purchased for $18.00 (plus sales tax) in our Gift Shop.
